Creating a home is a rite of passage we all experience and Corotos is here to help along the way. Their mission, to create a unified home that truly represents their customer’s lives, tastes and stories, is represented in the care and attention they use to choose their beautifully crafted décor some are antiques, many of them are unique, and all of them are beautiful.

As experts in decoration, Corotos knew that entering the eCommerce world needed a visually engaging, yet minimalistic website design that would accentuate their inspiring collection. Knowing that we’ve designed a wide range of online marketplaces across diverse sectors, Corotos came to us for some help creating a customized digital experience that would engage their international customers.


Our first goal was to build a highly personalized and distinctive Magento powered eCommerce site that would offer Corotos’ customers a seamless online shopping experience. We also wanted to personalize the customer journey, so we opted for custom messages, quickview overlays, a WordPress-backed blog, and MailChimp-powered marketing tools for added oomph.

Because their unique line called for a cleanly-styled feel, we decided to step in and direct their photography too. Our goal, a minimalist and premium aesthetic that would showcase their high-end interior design, was achieved through custom visuals that highlighted their products in all the right places. To top it all off, we also worked closely with Corotos’ local SEO agency to make sure the site was optimized for search.


From a design perspective, this project wasn’t a simple redesign, we actually developed the eCommerce powered website from the ground up while simultaneously directing all the art. The results? A very successful and stylish website launch complete with increased sales and brand recognition — all from day one. Always keeping Corotos’ audience in mind, we also went as far as to make the website shoppable in both English and German.
