Founded in 1979, Boston Acoustics is known around the world as the leading manufacture of high performance loudspeakers and innovative home entertainment. Servicing over 50 countries the globe, their sound is one that’s heard with resonance that’s remembered.
Having worked successfully along side our team for their brands Marantz and Denon, they came to us for assistance in their web development strategy. Understanding the need to be mobile, they were specifically on the quest to ensure their new e-commerce website would be tablet friendly for their clientele.
With the SharePoint Web Platform already in place, we went to work on fine tuning and ensuring the needs of Boston Acoustics were being met in their entirety. We developed an e-commerce website from wireframes to a design optimized for the iPad and other tablet devices to launch of the site, leveraging their new Sharepoint platform with Commerce Integration.
As a global organization, Boston Acoustics also had a need to make the new website understood in every region of their reach. Our team of multilingual experts optimized the site for each region, including language implementation and localized content, which resulted in a website that was approved unanimously by each region globally.. With some countries offering e-Commerce and others only informational (each with varying catalogs), that of itself was an accomplishment to connect with the team on all levels.
Additional aspects of the web development included integrating their product configuration with recommendations for usability flow, and reducing the number of clicks to purchase for an overall result that was multiplatform, multilingual, and optimized for a seamless user experience for listeners around the world. The Product guide was designed to provide consumers recommendations based on their lifestyle or placement needs.
